Senior College Exams

 

Special Disability Provisions TASC

TASC provides for special assessment arrangements to be made for students who, because of particular circumstances, are unable to be assessed in the same way as other students. Please see the document below for more information.

Application forms are available from Mrs Kerr and MUST be returned by the middle of Term 2 (June 19th)
Please note, if your son/daughter applied for Special Provisions in 2016 then he/she must complete another form for 2017.

TASC dates for inspection of externally assessed materials

January 4 - 2017      Closing date for requests for externally assessed material year 12
January 9 - 2017      Inspection of externally assessed material at regional centres
January 27 - 2017    Closing date for requests to inspect externally assessed material for Year 11 students and those in year 12 who did not submit a request for January 4
Early February 2017 Inspection of externally assessed material for year 11/12 students at Marist College


2017 Midyear Exams 

Senior College mid-year exams are administered and assessed internally by the College. 
Strict exam conditions apply.

Exam Venue

The College has refurbished the main computer lab near the Chapel into a multi-purpose exam venue.

All written TASC exams will be held in Exam Centre (Rm 54).

Morning exams commence strictly at 9.00am. Afternoon exams commence strictly at 1.30pm.

  • Students must bring their pink Notice of Enrolment slip to all exams.
  • Students are required to be at the venue half an hour before each exam.
  • The Exam Centre is a quiet zone. There will be no drop off/pick up access outside the Chapel entrance.
  • Students are advised to park in the usual student parking zone. Parents are advised to use the drop off area at the Student Entrance.

 

Rules

The conditions and rules of end-of-year external exams are administered by the TASC. Students should refer to the TASC booklet Student Guide to External Assessment for exam instructions and information regarding missed exams. The guide includes all necessary information regarding the need for medical certificates if a student misses an exam for medical reasons.

    Results

    TASC exam results are usually available mid- to late December. Application details for early release are contained in the blue student guide.
    Queries relating to results are answered by the TASC, via the TASC Coordinator Jill Kerr .
